On the weekend of the 28th of June 2008, the Berea Community Policing Forum had an Anti-Crime Awareness Campaign drive at the Musgrave Shopping Centre.

G.R.S - Durban was invited to educate local residents on how Graffiti vandalism is often a source of criminal activity that could lead to more serious crime.
